Super Nurse! ♥ 12:15 PM

Being a nurse ain't easy.
You got to know how to read doctors input, speech therapist input,
dietician input, physiotherapist input, occupational therapist input etc.
Not only do we need to know our job,
we need to know other people's job as well.
For example, clerk, doctors, pharmacist etc.
We also need to know how we can discharge patients.
Not to forget, who to contact when we need them to see patient.
For example, reason to refer dietician.
Then, we MUST make sure dietician come.
After they come, we MUST make sure the diet/feeds is ordered.
And, we MUST make sure patient can tolerate or take the diet/feed well.
If not, we MUST go back to square one, which is asking dietician to come again.
There's so much things a nurse need to do during a short 8-hours shift.
I wonder how come we can cope?
How did I survive completing all those things for 8 patients?
Tomorrow, I need to start taking 10 cases.
Can I cope?
I hope so.

My dearest baby cousin that's only 3 months younger than me flew off to US for studies.
I'm proud of her.
Yet, I know she will be dearly missed by me.
I hope she can cope well over there.
